Platform Development 4 brings the different skills you learned together and focusses on how to bring a game development process to a good ending. You will be working iin a small team and creating all assets, code, documentation and planning. Using the scrum methodology you will complete several prototyping and production sprints using hack and plan. This will allow you to experience firsthand what it means to contain scope, work goal oriented and the importance of all different steps.
Organizing data makes it easy to understand and interpret. In this course we will learn how to use SQL (Structured Query Language). This is a special-purpose programming language designed for managing data held in a relational database management system. Terms like normalization, constraints, mySQL, joins, xml, views, ... will have no secrets for you. You will write SQL-statements as if they are in your mother tongue! At the end of this course, you can create your own database, ready to be used in your future game!
Next to that several technicial topics will be introduced such as writing shaders in unity, the render pipeline, performance in unity and more advanced topics such as entity component systems.
