Every year, we organise an internship fair here at DAE, where a wide range of companies are invited to present themselves and their internship offers to our students – and to interview potential candidates.
Last year we counted just over 20 companies, while this year’s edition doubled to 70 industry professionals, representing 40 companies from 5 different countries. A good number of the participants were DAE veterans themselves, so the event lead not just to good internship matches, but also to many happy reunions.
Days like this are a lively reminder of how much the DAE profile is valued by companies in Belgium and abroad, but also of how diverse and ever-evolving the job market is for our programmers and artists. Aside from a significant number of games, 3D and VFX studios, we got to welcome businesses active in 3D visualisation, VR/AR and educational technologies.
