Alumni Clair Bellens and Wietse Abé both worked at MPC on the movie Jungle Book as software engineers, with Maya, QT and Python as tools of their trade. (Search for their credits here.) They created tools to help the artists, and worked mainly on MPC's asset management system, especially for the creation of the jungle which is fully 3D. They also created Maya tools to streamline the animations.
